More than 80 Lace Motifs For Torchon and Bucks Point
If you study a Torchon lace design, you'll see that the pattern consists of a series of geometric shapes (or motifs) fitted together – a bit like a jigsaw puzzle.

The Lace R-XP Motifs disc contains most of the shapes used in Torchon lace. They are arranged together according to size, which makes it easy to choose a motif to fit into your particular design.

All you have to do is to select the motif, then paste it into position on the design page.
Some samples of the motifs contained in the motif library.
If you are new to using Lace R-XP, or if you've never tried using the Motif Library, this is an easy way for you to get started. All the hard work of drawing up your own motifs has been done for you! There are motifs Diamonds, Fans, Lozenges as well as a wide variety of little-used Spiders. While all working lines are drawn in, further directions for working the Spiders may be found in either The Book of Bobbin Lace Stitches by Cook and Stott, or Practical Skills in Bobbin Lace by Bridget Cook.
Buck Motifs
For those interested in designing simple Bucks Point, there is a smaller collection of motifs to help you get started. These motifs have been drawn on an angle of 54 degrees. However, you can easily change them to a different angle if you so desire by selecting the item on the drawing page and nominating the new angle of grid.
